You are Christ's bride, the love of His heart, and I would never hurt Him by hurting you. I see the way you are growing, thriving, and courageously carrying on in spite of the darkness around you and the attacks launched at you. I see people mocking you and wounding you, yet you still embrace them. I see you humbling yourself, praying, and awakening. I have full confidence that as we continue to humble ourselves, pray, and turn from wicked ways, God will heal our land. We, not the world, have been charged with that. We have the key in prayer, humility, and repentance.
We have the answer, Church.
When I think of the world, I think of beautiful people who are hurting. I think of broken promises, families falling apart, good people intimidated by stress and fear. I imagine lost people with amazing hearts, but misguided beliefs. I see people who love hard and fight hard, but fail because they rely on their own strength. You know, people just like us.
We are just like them, except we know we need Jesus. We know we can’t do things on our own strength. We know we can’t make the sun rise or add an inch to our stature. We are well aware of our limitations. We know this is His world, He is in control, and the smartest thing we can do is surrender to Him. We know true joy comes from relying on Him, believing His promises, and receiving His grace. We know love is greatest of all. Love above power. Love above pride. Love above justice.
As I’ve been compelled to open my life and share my story, I’ve been wondering,
why don’t I read more about this on social media? Why is it that the loudest voices are usually the negative ones? I sit and read through my feeds shaking my head at how deceived our world has become. People spew craziness and try to impose ideas that have never worked, all while calling those who disagree every ugly name in the book.
I want to encourage you, if you’ve been apprehensive about posting about your life on social media, be free. If you’ve been afraid to be labeled as narcissistic or judged as self-promoting, don’t be. If you feel like your life isn’t perfect enough to be public, you are exactly who needs to be sharing. The world needs to hear your testimony. People need to see you. You don’t have to preach. It’s not about bragging or comparing. Just share your authentic life.

My prayer is for this generation to recognize the truth, crave true wisdom, and reject lies. I pray that our lives do more than simply inspire a fleeting movement, but that they spark a TRANSFORMATION. And I can't wait to watch it unfold in my news feed.
